1) Create a new Photoshop document and give it a black background.

3) Press control and click on the thumbnail and edit the border selection to 35 pixels: (Select -> Modify -> Border) and make it 35 pixels.

5) Make your text black and rasterize it (Layer -> rasterize -> type)
6) Move it above the backlight.

7) Set the blending mode of the backlight to dissolve.

10) Apply a 100 amount, and on zoom. The centre is where you want the light to come from.

11) Create a new layer and paint it with a circular gradient from White to Black. The center is where the light is coming from.

13) Duplicate the text layer and flip it vertically (Edit -> Transform -> flip vertical) and place is underneath the original text.
14) Set the transparency to about 60-80%
15) Apply some blur (Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian blur)

16) Put in some light strokes in. Open the layer options of the text and in the bottom part change the slider by pressing alt:
17) Create a new layer above everything and paint it with a colour, or gradient and set the blending mode to soft light.
